AUTODESK EVENT ANALYSIS

Incident Date: April 11, 2024

 

Summary

On April 11, 2024 between 11:00 AM PDT and 2:00 PM PDT, Autodesk experienced a service disruption that impacted customers using the Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) Project List page in the Account Admin console. 

 

Impacted Services

  • Customers in the US region were not able to access the ACC Project List page in the Account Admin console.

 

Root Cause

  • The issue was caused by a recent deployment in the Project Template Service (PTS) that created increased levels of traffic resulting in API failures that rendered the ACC Project List page inaccessible.

 

Autodesk Actions

Autodesk has completed a post-incident analysis of the event and identified actions to be taken. These include the following:

  • Implement enhanced testing processes to identify and resolve traffic-related issues in the future.
  • Implement improvements to alert processes to expedite response and resolution.

We are investigating an issue where customers are unable to view the Project List page on ACC Admin Console in the US region. We are actively looking into this and we will provide an update within 60 minutes or sooner if we have more information to share.
