Summary
On December 3, 2025 between 3:10 AM PST and 7:28 AM PST Autodesk Customers were unable to download trial versions of AutoCAD and Fusion.

Impacted Services

Root Cause

  • During a node version upgrade one of the npm packages failed to install in the server during deployment due to anonymous access restriction.
  • This resulted in the Trial eligibility check APIs failing, impacting trial version of AutoCAD and Fusion.

Autodesk Actions
Autodesk has completed a post-incident analysis of the event and identified actions to be taken. These include the following:

  • Enabled integration test to avoid similar issues in future.
  • Review monitoring tools and capabilities.
