Summary
On March 27, 2025, 7:00 AM PDT until April 04, 2025, 10:11 AM PDT, Autodesk entitlement processing failures impacted customers using User Management capabilities. Some Autodesk Teams were incorrectly shown an additional quantity of seats.

Impacted Services
When Administrators accessed User management via the following avenues:

  • Autodesk Account
  • Autodesk Construction Cloud
  • Autodesk Forma
  • Autodesk Flow Production Tracking (formerly ShotGrid)
  • Autodesk Info360

Root Cause
A code deployment in the fulfillment domain by an internal team had:

  • Incorrect code execution of switching upon addition of a new type of entitlement.
  • Inadequate testing validation in integrations.

Autodesk Actions
Autodesk has completed a post-incident analysis of the event and identified actions to be taken. These include the following:

  • Improve internal reconciliation systems to detect issues earlier in the development process.
  • Improve feature flag management to limit the impact window if an issue occurs.
  • Improve end to end testing scenarios to capture data type validations.
