Summary
Between December 6, 2024 at 7:48 AM PST and December 9, 2024 at 7:52 AM PST, Autodesk experienced an issue that prevented customers from creating or viewing data in the Autodesk Parameters Service.

Impacted Services

  • Autodesk Parameters Service – customers could not create new data, parameters, or collections.

Root Cause

  • The issue was caused by a code deployment that inadvertently resulted in a dependent service for Autodesk Parameters Service to not complete requests successfully.
  • A fixed was deployed and the issue was resolved.

Autodesk Actions
Autodesk has completed a post-incident analysis of the event and identified actions to be taken. These include the following:

  • Implement improvements in deployment processes to mitigate issues in the future.
  • Implement improvements to monitoring and alert systems to expedite incident detection in the future.

Investigating

We are currently investigating an issue where customers are unable to create new data in the Autodesk Parameters Service. However, they can still access the existing libraries and collections, and view data in the Autodesk Parameters Service. We are actively looking into this and we will provide an update within 60 minutes or sooner if we have more information to share.
