Summary
On April 21, 2025, between 8:45 PM PDT and April 22, 2025, at 7:09 AM PDT, Autodesk experienced a service disruption impacting customers’ ability to install the latest (2026) Desktop Products from Autodesk Account.

Root Cause

  • The "Update Type" was incorrectly set when it was brought into the 2026 Products.

Autodesk Actions
Autodesk has completed a post-incident analysis of the event and identified actions to be taken. These include the following:

  • To address the issue, a rollback was performed.
  • Updates to internal documentation to denote UpdateType to be used.
  • Add Installation of Products as part of release verification process for Identity Manager.
  • Guardrail to not allow setting of certain flag types.
