On September 30, 2024, between 5:22 PM PDT and 7:45 PM PDT Autodesk experienced a service disruption with partner.autodesk.com and registeronce.autodesk.com impacting partners and customer from logging into these sites.

‌Impacted Services

• Partners were unable to access partner.autodesk.com to manage their accounts/orders/subscriptions
• Customers were unable to unable to access registeronce.autodesk.com to register and activate their serial numbers

‌Root Cause

• Caused due to an API communication failure with our Authentication system

‌

‌Autodesk Actions
Autodesk has completed a post-incident analysis of the event and identified actions to be taken. These include the following:

• Improvements to address API failures with the Authentication system
• Process improvements to minimize the impact in the event of any such issues
