Summary
On April 2, 2025 between 4:00 AM PDT and 6:34 AM PDT, Autodesk experienced an issue that prevented Fusion customers from viewing some of their simulation results.

Impacted Services

  • Fusion Electronics Cooling simulation
  • Fusion Injection Molding simulation
  • Finite Element Analysis (Fusion Insider)

Root Cause

  • A recent deployment inadvertently introduced an invalid change to a Domain Name Services (DNS) endpoint, preventing Fusion customers from viewing some of their simulation results.
  • The DNS endpoint was updated and the issue was resolved.

Autodesk Actions
Autodesk has completed a post-incident analysis of the event and identified actions to be taken. These include the following:

  • Implement an automatic post/pre-deployment change to block disruptive changes automatically in the future.
  • Implement revision and improvements to the current deployment process.

Investigating

We are investigating an issue where customers are unable to load or view the simulation results via Fusion electronics cooling and Fusion injection molding within Fusion. Other fusion components are operational. We are actively looking into this and we will provide an update within 60 minutes or sooner if we have more information to share.
