Summary

On July 15, 2024 between 4:24 AM PDT and 7:16 AM PDT, Autodesk experienced an issue that prevented customers in the Australia, European Union and US regions from opening models using BIM 360 Model Coordination.

Impacted Services

  • Customers using BIM360 Model Coordination were unable to open models in the viewer, which is the primary workflow for the application.

Root Cause

  • The issue was caused by a code change that inadvertently resulted in the app failure when trying to open the viewer.
  • The code change was rolled back and service was restored.

Autodesk Actions

Autodesk has completed a post-incident analysis of the event and identified actions to be taken. These include the following:

  • Implement improvements in deployment processes to mitigate issues in the future.

Resolved
On July 15, 2024 at 04:24 AM PDT, Autodesk identified an issue where customers were unable to open models within BIM 360 Model Coordination. Once the issue was resolved on July 15, 2024 at 07:24 AM PDT, BIM 360 Model Coordination returned to normal operation. This is a retroactive notification as this issue did not display on the Autodesk Health Dashboard at that time. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
