Summary
On March 15, 2025, between 1:28 AM and 5:09 AM PDT, customers of Autodesk Revit Cloud Worksharing / Cloud Models were unable to open, Sync with Central, or borrow and relinquish elements from models hosted in the Australia region.

Impacted Services

  • Revit Cloud Worksharing / Cloud Models (Australia)

Root Cause

  • As part of routine automated maintenance, new application instances were provisioned to replace existing instances in the Australia region.
  • An intermittent defect prevented the new instances from serving traffic, disrupting customer workflows.

Autodesk Actions
Autodesk has completed a post-incident analysis of the event and identified actions to be taken. These include the following:

  • Improve service provisioning to minimize the risk of disrupting customer workflows.
  • Implement resiliency improvements such that failures of individual instances are less likely to disrupt customer workflows.
  • Implement improvements to diagnostic logging.
  • Update troubleshooting and recovery playbooks to reflect learnings from this incident.
