AUTODESK EVENT ANALYSIS
Incident Number: COE-INC139522
Incident Date: March 31, 2026

Summary
On March 31, 2026, between 07:53 AM PDT and 06:05 PM PDT, Autodesk experienced an issue that impacted customers using Flow Production Tracking (FPTR) Application Session Launcher. Customers encountered intermittent authentication failures when attempting to log in after logout, restart, or cache clear.

Impacted Services

  • Flow Production Tracking (FPTR) – Application Session Launcher.

Root Cause

  • A recent production deployment resulted in two versions of the application running concurrently, which caused conflicts in user session handling during authentication.
  • As a result, some users were unable to successfully re-authenticate and encountered intermittent login errors.

Autodesk Actions
Autodesk has completed a post-incident analysis of the event and identified actions to help prevent similar issues in the future. These include the following:

  • Improving deployment validation to ensure application updates are applied consistently and do not result in conflicting versions.
  • Enhancing monitoring and alerting to detect authentication issues earlier and reduce impact duration.
  • Updating internal processes and tools to improve reliability of deployments and reduce the risk of similar issues recurring.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
