Summary
On April 25, 2025 between 11:00 AM PDT and 7:50 PM PDT, Autodesk experienced an issue that impacted customers using the Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) Viewer in Autodesk Build, Autodesk Docs, ACC Cost Management, and Autodesk Takeoff in the US, European Union, and Australia regions.

Root Cause

• The issue was caused by a change introduced in a new release of ACC Viewer that inadvertently prevented customers from viewing or managing ACC files in Autodesk Build, Autodesk Docs, ACC Cost Management, and Autodesk Takeoff.
• A rollback was performed and the issue was resolved.

Autodesk Actions
Autodesk has completed a post-incident analysis of the event and identified actions to be taken. These include the following:

• Implement additional testing to ensure the system is functioning correctly after updates.
• Introduce feature flags for large changes, enabling selective rollback if necessary.
• Enhance monitoring to detect any unusual activity or spikes in the future.
