Root Cause

  • The issue was due to a new version of the ACC Viewer that inadvertently introduced an error preventing customers from viewing uploaded sheets.
  • A rollback was performed and the issue was resolved.

Autodesk Actions
Autodesk has completed a post-incident analysis of the event and identified actions to be taken. These include the following:

  • Implement enhanced monitoring and alerting to detect spikes in errors associated with sheet content load requests.
  • Enhance backend error responses to allow for quicker root cause identification.
  • Expand test coverage to simulate different user permission scenarios during validation to identify issues in the future.
