AUTODESK EVENT ANALYSIS
Incident Number: #coe-inc155854-plangrid-p
Incident Date: September 30, 2026

‌

Summary
On September 30, 2026, between 07:12 AM PDT and 08:00 AM PDT, Autodesk experienced a delay in processing photo previews in PlanGrid. Customers may have noticed that newly uploaded photos took several minutes to appear in the Photos tab. All photo uploads were retained, and previously available photos remained accessible throughout the incident. Autodesk identified the processing delay and monitored recovery. Normal photo processing resumed, and all delayed photos were subsequently made available.

‌

Impacted Services

  • PlanGrid - delayed appearance of newly uploaded photos in the Photos tab.

‌

Root Cause

  • An interruption in background photo processing caused a buildup of pending photo previews. The interruption was associated with memory-related processing failures; the specific contributing factors remain under investigation.
  • Once processing stabilized, the pending photo previews were completed and normal service was restored.

‌

Autodesk Actions
Autodesk has reviewed the incident and is evaluating opportunities to improve the reliability of photo processing. Actions taken and ongoing follow-up include:

  • Monitored the photo processing backlog and confirmed that delayed photos were successfully processed after service recovery.
  • Continued investigation into the contributing factors to inform appropriate preventive improvements.
