Summary
On December 11, 2024 between 10:09 AM PST and 12:18 PM PST, Autodesk customers in the US region experienced intermittent failures and delays while logging into and using Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) products.

Root Cause

  • There was an unprecedented surge of activity within a short time frame. Services were unable to scale to the appropriate level to process the queued jobs which caused timeouts and downed services.

Autodesk Actions
Autodesk completed a post-incident analysis of the event and identified actions to be taken to resolve the issue. These included the following:

  • Increased load balancing capacity.
  • Increased rate limit between administration and identity services.

We have identified the cause of the issue where customers are intermittently unable to access multiple Autodesk Construction Cloud products in the US region.
