Summary
On March 25, 2025 between 4:55 PM GMT and 5:01 PM GMT, Autodesk experienced an issue that degraded service for customers in the US region using the Construction Assistant feature in Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).

Root Cause

  • The issue was caused by a high volume of traffic that resulted in customers experiencing degraded service for the ACC Construction Assistant.
  • The issue resolved itself and services returned to normal operation.

Autodesk Actions
Autodesk has completed a post-incident analysis of the event and identified actions to be taken. These include the following:

  • Decreased the complexity of the processing.
  • Increased server bandwidth to handle more simultaneous requests .
  • Added safeguards and retry mechanisms to mitigate degradation issues in the future.

On March 25, 2025, at 4:55 PM GMT, Autodesk identified an issue where customers were experiencing latency while utilizing the assistant feature in Autodesk Build and Autodesk Construction Cloud Specifications in the US region. The issue was resolved on March 25, 2025, at 5:01 PM GMT, Autodesk Build and Autodesk Construction Cloud Specifications returned to normal operation. This is a retroactive notification as the issue was not displayed on the Autodesk Health Dashboard at that time. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
