Impacted Services

  • Revit Cloud Worksharing / Cloud Models (US region only)

Root Cause

  • A resiliency shortfall caused a single instance of the service to fail, which had a cascading
    effect on the entire service.

Autodesk Actions
Autodesk has completed a post-incident analysis of the event and identified actions to be
taken. These include the following:

  • Adjust service configuration and scaling behaviors to ensure the service remains stable
under peak production load, even if there is a disruption to a resource.
  • Improve service resiliency so that it can better tolerate running outside normal
    parameters.
  • Improve service configuration for swifter recovery after a hard-down condition.
  • Improve time to detect and respond to degradations in service health.
  • More quickly update the Autodesk Health Dashboard when the service is unhealthy.
