Summary
On February 6, 2025, between 6:59am PST and 8:58am PST, Autodesk Revit Cloud Worksharing
/ Cloud Models was unavailable in the US region. During this period, many customers were
unable to access their Hubs, Projects, and folders within Revit Cloud Worksharing / Cloud
Models.
Impacted Services
- Revit Cloud Worksharing / Cloud Models (US region only)
Root Cause
- A resiliency shortfall caused a single instance of the service to fail, which had a cascading
effect on the entire service.
Autodesk Actions
Autodesk has completed a post-incident analysis of the event and identified actions to be
taken. These include the following:
- Adjust service configuration and scaling behaviors to ensure the service remains stable
under peak production load, even if there is a disruption to a resource.
- Improve service resiliency so that it can better tolerate running outside normal
parameters.
- Improve service configuration for swifter recovery after a hard-down condition.
- Improve time to detect and respond to degradations in service health.
- More quickly update the Autodesk Health Dashboard when the service is unhealthy.
