Summary
On November 8, 2025 between 7:01 PM PST and 7:07 PM PST, Autodesk experienced an issue that prevented some customers from logging into their Autodesk products via single sign-on (SSO).

Impacted Services

Root Cause

  • The issue was caused by a recent upgrade that inadvertently changed the default multifactor enrollment policy configuration. As a result, customers received unexpected enrollment prompts during login requests.
  • The policy configuration was corrected and service returned to normal operation.

Autodesk Actions
Autodesk has completed a post-incident analysis of the event and identified actions to be taken. These include the following:

  • Implement improvements to review and align authentication and enrollment policies across all environments.

Resolved

On November 8, 2025 at 7:00 PM PST, Autodesk identified an issue where customer were unable to login to Autodesk products via SSO. Once the issue was resolved on November 8, 2025 at 7:07 PM PST, all returned to normal operation. This is a retroactive notification as this issue did not display on the Autodesk Health Dashboard at that time. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
