Summary
On July 22, 2024, between 09:33 AM PDT and 12:00 PM PDT, Autodesk experienced a service disruption that impacted customers using the North American deployment of ProEst.

Impacted Services

• The ProEst service was intermittently unavailable during the impact window. Some customers received intermittent 500 errors, and the web page and its contents would not load until the page was refreshed or reloaded.

Root Cause

• The issue was caused by higher-than-normal traffic, which led to insufficient bandwidth.

Autodesk Actions
Autodesk has completed a post-incident analysis of the event and identified actions to be taken. These include the following:

• increase resources to accommodate the traffic
• refine monitoring to identify similar conditions and expand alerts to notify the team to take immediate action when they occur.
