Summary On September 09, 2024, between 05:30 PM PDT and 08:55 PM PDT, a hardware failure within a third-party vendor’s external network caused some customers to be unable to access Revit Cloud Models and view their Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) projects on web and mobile apps.

Root Cause

  • The event was triggered due to a hardware failure within a third party’s external network, which led to intermittent network errors.
  • These intermittent network errors are believed to have caused approximately 0.4% of APIs to fail for users of the impacted services.

Autodesk Actions
Autodesk has completed a post-incident analysis of the event and identified actions to be taken. These include the following:

  • Set up alerts on API request failures due to network issues.

We are continuing to investigate where customers are unable to access cloud models in Revit Cloud Worksharing / Cloud Models. We subsequently determined that the cause of this issue was also affecting multiple Autodesk Construction Cloud products. We will provide an update within 60 minutes or sooner if we have more information to share.
