Summary
On January 6, 2026, between 05:19 PM PST and 8:20 PM PST, Autodesk experienced an issue that impacted customers using the AEC Data Model API, preventing retrieval of the latest published Revit file data via GraphQL APIs.

Root Cause

  • The incident was triggered by a limit in the number of available connections resulting in the connection pool being depleted.
  • The issue was resolved by restarting and scaling the worker cluster beyond previous
    levels and coordinating with dependent service teams to stabilize the service.

Autodesk Actions
Autodesk has completed a post-incident analysis of the event and identified actions to be taken. These include the following:

  • Increased connection timeout settings to improve reliability.
  • Implemented additional measures to better manage concurrent processing.
