Summary
On May 20, 2025, between 5:00 AM PDT and 2:00 PM PDT, Autodesk experienced a service disruption that impacted the creation of trial sites in Flow Production Tracking.

Root Cause

  • A change was introduced in a system used to deploy services like Flow Production Tracking. Due to this change, a required IAM role was modified. The change to the IAM role blocked the creation of trial sites in Flow Production Tracking.

Autodesk Actions
Autodesk has completed a post-incident analysis of the event and identified actions to be taken. These include the following:

  • Adding a check to the deployment system to detect changes to the IAM roles and confirm the changes before proceeding with the deployment.
  • Enhancements to the existing monitoring system to expand coverage of the trial site creation workflow.
