Summary
On July 10, 2024 between 3:07 AM PDT and 7:34 AM PDT, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) customers in the US and European Union regions using the Mobile iOS app version v7.33 experienced an issue that impacted the Issues tool via Autodesk Build.

Impacted Services

  • Customers in the US and European Union regions received a permissions error when they tried to create Issues through the issues log or reference picker using the Mobile iOS app version v7.33.

Root Cause

  • The issue was caused by a recent code change made to the Issues permission model for iOS. The change was rolled back and services returned to normal operation.

Autodesk Actions
Autodesk has completed a post-incident analysis of the event and identified actions to be taken. These include the following:

  • A new Mobile iOS app version (v7.33.1) was published in the Apple App Store that included a fix for the issue.
  • Implement improvements to testing processes and workflows to detect and mitigate similar issues from occurring in the future.
