AUTODESK EVENT ANALYSIS

Summary
On September 13, 2024, at 05:00 AM PDT until September 14, 2024, at 08:51 PM PDT, the Autodesk E-Store was not functioning properly. The E-Store outage impacted customers using any European E-store for the following products:

  • AutoCAD - including specialized toolsets
  • AutoCAD LT
  • AEC Collection
  • Alias Concept
  • BIM Collaborate Pro
  • Fusion
  • Product Design and & MFG Collection

Impacted Services

  • E-Store: For customers in the EU prices were not displayed and checkout was not possible.

Root Cause

  • European stores PAM (Product availability mapping) configuration was updated.
  • Prices were scheduled to expire on Sep 14th and be replaced.

Autodesk Actions
Autodesk has completed a post-incident analysis of the event and identified actions to be taken. These include the following:

  • Review pricing operations procedures.
  • Improvements to the detection and prevention of anomalous configurations from propagating.
  • Improvements to monitoring.
