Incident Date: October 20, 2025
Summary
On October 19, 2025, at 11:49 PM PDT, an Autodesk third-party service provider experienced a service disruption that impacted Autodesk cloud products and services. At that time, Autodesk cloud products and services began experiencing intermittent disruptions and performance issues. As of October 21, 2025, at 7:26 AM PDT, all issues resulting from this service disruption have been resolved and all Autodesk cloud products and services have returned to normal operation.
Impacted Services and Regions
- Autodesk cloud products and services as well as desktop applications with cloud-enabled features
- Autodesk customer self-service applications (Autodesk Account Portal, Autodesk Support Center, Email & Phone Support, and Community Forums)
- Autodesk Account and related features, including user management, products, services, and reporting
- Autodesk Partner Web Services
- Multiple Autodesk regions were impacted, including those outside the US, as common services such as authentication occur within the US.
Next Steps
Autodesk is actively and diligently working on completing the analysis of the root cause, timelines, and corresponding Autodesk actions for this incident. This will also include an analysis of the recovery timelines across all impacted Autodesk products and services which varied due to the large backlogs of jobs and requests that needed to process once the issue was resolved and also the recovery timelines that were dependent on other third-party service providers, who were also impacted by the service disruption.
An updated Autodesk Event Analysis that will provide more details related to the incident will be published once our team has completed its investigation and analysis, in conjunction with our third-party service provider.
We apologize for the impact this incident caused our customers, and we will be using it as a learning opportunity to improve the future resiliency and availability of our products and services.
