Summary
On April 24, 2025, between 1:00PM PST and April 26, 2025, at 8:05PM PST, Autodesk experienced a service disruption which prevented customers from downloading Autodesk Fusion for personal use.

Root Cause

  • After introducing a spinner animation that displays while the Autodesk Fusion for personal use download page loads, an unexpected interaction occurred where the “Download” button was enabled before the data was loaded into the page. As a result,
    users were presented with a clickable button that did not lead to any action.

Autodesk Actions
Autodesk has completed a post-incident analysis of the event and identified actions to be taken. These include the following:

  • Monitoring improvements.
  • Improvements to test coverage.

We are continuing to work on resolving this issue where customers are unable to download Autodesk Fusion for personal use on the Autodesk.com in the Australia region. We subsequently determined that the issue has been resolved in the US region and the European Union region. We will provide an update within 60 minutes or sooner if we have more information to share.
