Summary
On October 29, 2024, between 01:33 PM PDT and 01:38 PM PDT, customers were experiencing degraded performance while using Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) products in the US region.

Impacted Services

  • ACC Admin Console
  • BIM 360 Account Admin

Root Cause
Several unoptimized Support requests caused a spike in CPU usage, hindering the capability to process requests efficiently.

Autodesk Actions
Autodesk has completed a post-incident analysis of the event and identified actions to be taken. These include the following:

  • Add guardrails around Support requests, including disabling relationship joins and timeouts
  • Investigate methods to capture long running queries and add event alerting

Resolved
On October 29, 2024 at 01:33 PM PDT, Autodesk identified an issue where customers were experiencing degraded performance while using multiple Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) products in the US region. Once the issue was resolved on October 29, 2024 at 01:38 PM PDT, all products returned to normal operation. This is a retroactive notification as this issue did not display on the Autodesk Health Dashboard at that time. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
