Incident Date: January 14, 2026

Summary
On January 14, 2026, between 02:51 AM and 03:04 AM PST, customers using BIM 360 Model Coordination in the European Union region experienced errors and latency while loading models in Model Coordination within multiple Autodesk products.

Impacted Services

  • Search Service

Root Cause

  • At around 02:51 AM, the Search service experienced high latency for some requests from BIM 360 Model Coordination via Autodesk Docs due to insufficient capacity to manage random complex queries. The system recovered shortly after the spike in load.

Autodesk Actions
Autodesk has completed a post-incident analysis of the event and identified actions to be taken. These include the following:

  • Increase IOPS capacity for Search 2.0 (complete).
  • Scale up OpenSearch cluster.
  • Restructure Autodesk Docs indexed data to minimize future events and corresponding impact.
